Many churches have utilized a to-go service for food pantry and other meal services. Making the food ahead of time and limiting the number of individuals handing out the food in a specific time.

The Interfaith Food Pantry at our parish chose to close yesterday after speaking with the Health Dept. Hard decision and health director's guidance was critical in making the decision.

As a member of AA myself, I think that we need to keep the door open to people for whom staying sober is a matter of life and death. Some do not have the ability to attend a zoom meeting and really need to see another human being.

From the Archdiocese of Bridgeport re: funerals — No formal funerals. Basically the same as Holy Week -rite of committal by graveside restricted your immediate family and friends only. Memorial Mass when this is all over.
Dana
01:06:43
Courant says Hartford Archdiocese also recommended that funeral homes suspend wakes and that priests perform Committal with Commendation at the graveside and that Norwwich announced similar plans last Tuesday.

A reminder: Zoom allows for a phone call, only - works like a conference call option. No app, video, etc needed. I had someone call in from their corded landline to a Zoom call last week.
Gillian Barr
01:24:29
Our parish used a conference call link to do audio-only since we couldn’t pull video together. Our folks were able to dial in even if they weren’t techy.
